Just Became an Indie Developer

I’m a programmer with 16 years of work experience, and I recently left my job because I’d grown a bit burned out on the corporate world. When it comes to quitting, anyone who’s done it probably knows the feeling—before you leave, you can’t help thinking about all the things you’ll get to do once you’re out.
I had plenty of things I wanted to do. For instance, I’d long wanted to exercise regularly—play ball, hit the gym, do some boxing—and I also wanted to build some interesting things.
But I have to apologize, because my first app doesn’t seem all that interesting, haha. It’s just an app that shows me what I can do in a day and reminds me of what I need to get done.
I schedule a lot of things in Niwa Day, and honestly I won’t necessarily do all of them. I just lay them all out, pick a few to actually tackle, and keep it pretty casual. Seeing this schedule every day makes me feel like I’m getting a lot done :D
Maybe the app gives me more psychological comfort than actual usefulness—something I made to gently convince myself.
